This programme is open to people who are 16 to 19 years of age, currently not employed and who need to address a barrier or barriers to further learning or employment, and/or who need to confirm an occupational focus prior to entering further learning or employment.
This programme will help you
Build up the skills and confidence employers need you to have. e.g. IT.
Search for jobs that suit your vocational interests.
Gain valuable work experience by taking part in work placements with local employers.
Gain qualifications up to level 2.
Show you how to progress from this programme into higher education or Work Based Learning if you become employed.
Provide you with information, guidance and personal 1-2-1 support.
At the beginning of the programme, we will work with you to establish both the skills you need to improve and how you like to be taught (your learning style). With your input, we will then develop an Action Plan as a guide to what is needed and a way to help you record your achievements on the programme.
